About us

Our mission

Agro Énergie is a Canadian farm enterprise specialized since 2006 in the production and establishment of fast-growing willow cuttings. Driven by innovation and the continuous improvement of our processes, we are dedicated to making short-rotation willow coppice (SRWC) a stable and efficient biomass feedstock for the growing bioenergy and biorefining industry. So far, our commitment to research and development has enabled us to reduce by more than half SRWC establishment costs, bringing us one step closer to the large-scale commercial deployment of short-rotation willow coppice.
